Suspects in Custody, Two Firearms Recovered, After Early Morning Drive-by Shooting

Spokane police arrested two suspects following a drive-by shooting in northeast Spokane early this morning. The incident involved Zachary Gring, who shot at a residence and car belonging to a person he knew. Officers linked this shooting to a prior incident where Gring fled from police, leading to probable cause for his arrest. Alongside Gring, 26-year-old Allie Alderson was apprehended and charged with drive-by shooting and other offenses. Surveillance footage played a crucial role in identifying the suspects, prompting a swift police response.

Gring faces serious charges, including two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and domestic violence. Both suspects were booked into Spokane County Jail as the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are referring additional misdemeanor charges to the prosecutor's office.
