Spokane police arrested two suspects early this morning after a drive-by shooting that damaged a vehicle but resulted in no injuries. Zachary Gring, 32, shot at a house and car belonging to a person he had a relationship with, prompting police to act swiftly. He faces charges including two counts of drive-by shooting and unlawful possession of a firearm. Allie Alderson, 26, was apprehended shortly after Gring and is charged with two counts of drive-by shooting, along with a warrant for a previous riot charge. The investigation revealed that this incident was connected to a prior shooting where Gring had fled from police.

Officers recovered two firearms during the arrests, one of which was reported stolen. A vigilant citizen's tip led to Gring's apprehension, emphasizing community involvement in public safety. The investigation remains ongoing, with potential for additional charges as authorities review the circumstances.
