Emergency crews arrived within four minutes, extinguishing the flames and rescuing two individuals who required assistance. AMR paramedics evaluated them on-site, confirming their stable condition.

The fire was deemed accidental, resulting from a stovetop ignited with combustible items placed on top. Investigators noted that fire damage was limited to the unit, while smoke affected hallway walls. Firefighters highlighted the critical safety measure of closing doors to slow fire growth, especially in multi-family buildings. Their rapid response prevented a more dangerous situation from unfolding, ensuring no residents were displaced.
