A red Ford Mustang crashed into a building in Riverpark Square on May 15, 2025, at 8:55 PM, after swerving to avoid a scooter. Witnesses indicated the vehicle was traveling east on Main Street at a high rate of speed before hitting a parked car and then the building, causing extensive damage. The driver, Omar M. Khairi, 20, showed no signs of impairment during the police evaluation but was taken to a local hospital for further assessment. He received a citation for Reckless Driving due to the dangerous nature of his actions.
