Altercation on Spokane's South Hill Currently Being Investigated by the Major Crimes Unit

Spokane Police are probing a deadly altercation that unfolded in an apartment complex, resulting in the deaths of two men. Initial reports indicate that a male suspect armed with a knife attacked a female resident, who was unharmed due to the intervention of a nearby tenant. Following this, the suspect fatally stabbed another male victim before attacking a man walking a dog, who shot the suspect in self-defense. Despite rapid response from emergency personnel, both the stabbing victim and the suspect died at the scene. Investigators are working to determine the relationships among the individuals involved and the motive behind the altercation.

All parties have been located and are cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will disclose the identities of the deceased. Authorities urge witnesses or anyone with surveillance footage to contact Crime Check for further assistance.
