The initial call reported a possible illegal burn, prompting Engine 2 to be dispatched at 4:59 p. m. Upon arrival, firefighters found a detached garage engulfed in flames and immediately took action to extinguish the fire. Their quick response contained the fire to the garage, preserving property valued at over $230,000 from potential damage.

The estimated losses from the fire are around $30,000, but thankfully, no injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters. Fire officials are currently investigating the cause of the blaze. This incident highlights the importance of prompt emergency responses in preventing larger disasters.
