Eastbound Wellesley Avenue Will Close Overnight for Water Main Repair

The City of Spokane's Water Department will close eastbound lanes of W. Wellesley Ave. from March 8 at 6 p. m. to March 9 for vital water main repairs.

Crews aim to work overnight to lessen traffic disruptions, with the closure expected to last until midday Sunday. Eastbound drivers can utilize detours via Maple St. to Rowan Ave. or Ash St. to Garland Ave.

, both of which lead back to N. Monroe St. and W. Wellesley Ave. Importantly, westbound traffic will proceed without detours, ensuring some continuity for motorists.
