Spokane Police responded to a burglary call on January 14, 2025, at a commercial property on North Freya Street, resulting in the arrest of Jordan C. Kerr, 37. Employees reported encountering the suspect who fled, leaving behind a red pickup truck that was confirmed as stolen. The suspect's access to the secure area was gained by cutting a fence and lock, indicating premeditated intentions. Quick action by the employees, who captured a photo of the suspect, provided crucial evidence for the responding officers.

A witness later identified Kerr in the vicinity, leading to his apprehension when he attempted to hide a firearm during a traffic stop. Kerr now faces serious charges, including 1st Degree Burglary and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. This incident highlights the importance of community vigilance and prompt police response in addressing crime effectively.
