How Are You Impacted by Climate Hazards?

Spokane, WALocal News

Spokane is taking proactive steps to address climate change by launching a community survey aimed at understanding the local impacts of climate hazards. Open until January 31, 2025, the survey invites residents to share their personal experiences and opinions on potential resiliency goals. Available in six languages, this initiative highlights the importance of diverse voices in shaping climate planning efforts. By participating, community members can help bridge data gaps and provide valuable context for city planners. As a token of appreciation, early respondents will be entered into a drawing for one of ten $50 gift cards.

This survey reflects the city’s commitment to fostering a resilient and sustainable Spokane. The Climate Planning team is eager to hear from residents about their lived experiences regarding climate change and its effects on their daily lives.
