Suspect in Custody After Committing Multiple Armed Robberies

Spokane Police arrested Justin McDowell, 45, for two armed robberies involving a shotgun and a Halloween mask. The initial incident occurred on November 2, 2025, at a marijuana retail store where cash was stolen. Investigators quickly obtained video footage and identified a suspect vehicle, leading to McDowell's identification after witness interviews. On November 7, another robbery occurred at a gaming store, showcasing similar tactics as the first. Law enforcement located McDowell later that evening in the 2900 block of East Broad, where they seized evidence from the scene.

He was booked into Spokane County Jail on two counts of 1st Degree Robbery. The police are investigating the possibility of further charges as they analyze the evidence gathered. McDowell's bond is set at $50,000, highlighting the serious nature of the crimes.
