Spokane Police arrested Justin McDowell, 45, on November 7 for his involvement in two armed robberies within a week. The first incident took place on November 2 at a marijuana retail store, where an employee reported a robbery by a masked man wielding a shotgun. Police gathered video evidence and identified McDowell after extensive witness interviews. On November 7, another robbery occurred at a gaming store, using similar tactics and attire, prompting a swift police response. Investigators located McDowell later that evening and seized evidence linked to the crimes.

He faces two counts of 1st Degree Robbery and is being held on a $50,000 bond. The Spokane Police Department collaborated with local tribes to aid in the investigation. Such incidents highlight ongoing concerns regarding public safety in retail environments.
