Officers learned that a lit firework was thrown from a vehicle into a crowd, causing an explosion that injured a man on the sidewalk. The victim required urgent medical attention and was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit have gathered security photos of the suspect vehicle and are eager to receive tips from the public.
