Suspect in Custody After Committing Multiple Armed Robberies
Spokane Police apprehended Justin McDowell, 45, for two armed robberies involving a shotgun and a Halloween mask. The first incident occurred on November 2, 2025, at a marijuana retail store, where cash was stolen from the register. Following video evidence analysis and witness interviews, investigators identified McDowell as a suspect. On November 7, 2025, he allegedly committed another robbery at a gaming store, again targeting cash and using similar disguises. Police located McDowell later that evening and seized evidence from his location.
He was booked into Spokane County Jail on two counts of 1st Degree Robbery. The bond for his release is set at $50,000. These incidents have raised concerns about public safety in the Spokane community.
