City Details Veterans Day Schedule
Spokane announces that on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, parking meters and kiosks will not require payment, but time limits will still apply. Garbage and recycling collection will continue on its regular schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to city services. The Waste to Energy Facility will remain open for operations, and Development Services Center employees will be available to assist residents. Riverfront Park will offer complimentary Looff Carrousel rides for military members, both active and retired, along with their families.
However, Spokane Public Library branches and the Municipal Court will be closed on this holiday. Spokane 311 employees will assist with inquiries in-person, by phone, or online. Residents can access services at www. spokane311. org, available 24 hours a day.
This Veterans Day observance reflects the city's commitment to honoring military personnel while maintaining essential services.
