Spokane will suspend parking meter fees on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, but time limits still apply. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will continue as scheduled, and the Waste to Energy Facility will remain open to serve citizens. Riverfront Park will offer complimentary Looff Carrousel rides to all military members, both active and retired, along with their families. However, Spokane Public Library branches will close, as will the Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services.
