Suspect in Custody After Committing Multiple Armed Robberies

Spokane Police arrested 45-year-old Justin McDowell for two armed robberies that occurred within a week in Spokane, Washington. The first robbery took place on November 2, 2025, at a marijuana retail store, where an employee reported the assailant wore a Halloween mask and brandished a shotgun. After obtaining video evidence, investigators identified a suspect vehicle, leading to McDowell’s identification. On November 7, a second armed robbery occurred at a gaming store with similar modus operandi. Spokane Police located McDowell later that evening and seized evidence linked to both crimes.

He has been charged with two counts of 1st Degree Robbery. Currently, he is being held in Spokane County Jail on a $50,000 bond. This series of robberies underscores ongoing concerns about crime in the region, prompting community discussions about safety measures.
