City Details Veterans Day Schedule
Spokane will not require payment for on-street parking meters and kiosks on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, while reminding residents that parking rules remain in effect. Regular garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will continue as scheduled on this holiday. Riverfront Park will honor military families by offering free Looff Carrousel rides to both active and retired members. However, Spokane Public Library branches will close, along with the Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services.
Spokane 311 will provide customer service support through in-person, phone, and online channels. Residents can submit requests at www. spokane311. org. The city aims to honor veterans while maintaining essential services for the community.
This initiative reflects Spokane's commitment to supporting both its veterans and residents on public holidays.
