Suspect in Custody After Committing Multiple Armed Robberies

Spokane Police arrested Justin McDowell, 45, in connection with two armed robberies that occurred in early November 2025. The first incident took place on November 2nd at a marijuana retail store, where an employee reported that a masked man armed with a shotgun stole cash from the register. Investigators utilized video evidence to identify a suspect vehicle, which led to further inquiries and interviews with witnesses. On November 7th, another robbery occurred at a gaming store, featuring similar modus operandi. Police located McDowell later that evening and seized evidence at his location.

He was booked into the Spokane County Jail for two counts of 1st Degree Robbery and is currently held on a $50,000 bond. This case highlights the ongoing challenges of armed robberies in the Spokane area, prompting increased collaboration among law enforcement agencies. Authorities continue to investigate the possibility of additional charges as they gather more evidence.
