City Details Veterans Day Schedule

Spokane will not require payment for on-street parking meters and kiosks on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, although time limits will still be enforced. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will continue as scheduled, with the Waste to Energy Facility open for operations. Riverfront Park will provide free Looff Carrousel rides to military personnel and their families, recognizing their service. In contrast, Spokane Public Library branches will be closed on this holiday, as will the Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services.

Spokane 311 will remain accessible for customer service inquiries in-person, by phone, or online. Residents can also use www. spokane311. org to submit requests 24/7. This holiday schedule reflects the city's commitment to honoring veterans while maintaining essential services.

The recognition of Veterans Day through free rides aims to foster community appreciation for military members.
