Spokane will waive fees for on-street parking meters and kiosks on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, but all parking regulations, including time limits, remain in effect. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will operate on their regular schedule, and the Waste to Energy Facility will be open to the public. The Spokane Public Library branches will be closed, and the Spokane Municipal Court will not hold sessions that day. Military members, both active and retired, can enjoy complimentary rides on the Looff Carrousel at Riverfront Park along with their families.

Spokane 311 employees will be available to assist with customer inquiries in person, by phone, or online at www. spokane311. org. The city encourages residents to submit requests through the 311 service, which operates 24 hours a day. This holiday schedule reflects Spokane's commitment to honoring Veterans while maintaining essential city services.

The public is reminded to adhere to all parking regulations, even when fees are waived.
