Suspect in Custody After Committing Multiple Armed Robberies

Spokane Police arrested 45-year-old Justin McDowell for two armed robberies, with the first occurring on November 2 at a marijuana retail store. An employee reported the thief, wearing a Halloween mask and armed with a shotgun, stole cash from the register. Investigators identified McDowell after reviewing video evidence and conducting witness interviews. A second robbery took place on November 7 at a gaming store, exhibiting similar characteristics, including the mask and weapon. Officers apprehended McDowell later that evening and confiscated evidence linked to the crimes.

He faces two counts of 1st Degree Robbery and is held on a $50,000 bond in Spokane County Jail. The local community has been shaken by these incidents, prompting increased police presence in the area. Authorities continue to investigate to ensure public safety.
