Suspect in Custody After Committing Multiple Armed Robberies
Spokane Police arrested 45-year-old Justin McDowell for committing two armed robberies within a week in Spokane. The first incident occurred on November 2, 2025, at a marijuana retail store, where an employee reported that a man wearing a Halloween mask and armed with a shotgun stole cash. Investigators identified McDowell as a suspect after analyzing video footage and interviewing witnesses. Just days later, on November 7, another armed robbery took place at a gaming store, where similar attire and a shotgun were used. Officers located McDowell later that evening in the 2900 block of East Broad, arresting him and seizing evidence linked to the crimes.
McDowell now faces two counts of 1st Degree Robbery and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
