Spokane will waive fees for on-street parking meters and kiosks on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. However, all other parking regulations, including time limits, will still apply despite the free parking. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will continue as scheduled, and the Waste to Energy Facility will be open for operations. The Spokane Public Library branches and the Municipal Court will close for the holiday.

Riverfront Park will offer complimentary Looff Carrousel rides for military members, both active and retired, along with their families. Spokane 311 employees will be available for customer service inquiries through in-person, phone, or online channels. The public can submit requests anytime at www. spokane311. org.
