City Details Veterans Day Schedule

Spokane, WALocal News

Spokane's on-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, allowing residents to park for free. Parking regulations, including time limits, will still apply despite the holiday. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will follow the regular schedule, and the Waste to Energy Facility will operate normally. Riverfront Park will offer free Looff Carrousel rides to all military members, active and retired, along with their families, enhancing community engagement on this significant day.

Spokane Public Library branches will close, as will the Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services, limiting some public services. Spokane 311 will be available for customer inquiries in person, by phone, and online. The local government encourages residents to utilize the 311 service for any questions or requests during the holiday.
