Seven non-technical chapters are available for review, reflecting community input and legislative requirements. These chapters focus on crucial areas such as Land Use, Housing, and Neighborhoods, providing guidance for future city investments and growth. The update process is structured in three phases: Non-Technical, Technical, and Functional Chapters, with technical drafts expected to be available by early 2026. Community engagement is emphasized, with draft chapters categorized into Community, Environment, and Growth topics.

Each category addresses vital aspects of Spokane’s development, from neighborhood growth to environmental health.
