Tyrone L. Cliff, 38, was arrested on October 28, 2025, in Florida for multiple felony charges related to possessing child sexual abuse material. The investigation began when the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit received a CyberTip in August regarding his online activities. As detectives prepared to serve search warrants at his Spokane residence, they learned he had moved to Florida. The investigation revealed that Cliff was employed as a middle school teacher in Hillsborough County at the time of his arrest.

The Spokane Police Department worked with local Florida law enforcement to issue multiple felony warrants for his apprehension. Cliff's arrest highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat child exploitation. He remains in Hillsborough County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Washington State.
