In their first 12 days of operation, Spokane's new street outreach teams cleared 96 encampments, connecting many individuals to vital services. The initiative, a collaboration between the City of Spokane and Catholic Charities, aims to address homelessness effectively. Mayor Brown praised the early achievements, underscoring the importance of ongoing coordination among service providers, social workers, and law enforcement.
