On September 24, 2025, Spokane Police responded to a shooting in the 4200 block of east 34th that left two adult males dead and another in critical condition. The police discovered the victims upon arrival and transported the injured man to a local hospital for urgent care. Preliminary investigations indicate that the involved parties were known to one another, although their exact relationships are still being determined. No other individuals sustained injuries, and authorities confirmed that there are no ongoing threats to the community. The Major Crimes Unit is currently processing the scene for evidence as part of the investigation.
