Spokane police arrested Katie L. Sims, 34, for vandalizing 16 vehicles at an auto dealership on September 19. The incident began as a reported argument, escalating when Sims threw rocks at parked cars, resulting in damages initially estimated at $100,000. Surveillance footage from the dealership allowed officers to identify Sims quickly. The following day, they located her in the Downtown area, still wearing the same clothing seen in the video.

She was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail for 1st Degree Malicious Mischief. This event underscores the increasing concerns over property crimes in Spokane. The dealership's substantial losses could impact its operations and insurance costs. Local law enforcement continues to address vandalism and related crimes in the community.
