Female in Custody After an Auto Dealership Has 16 Vehicles Vandalized

Spokane police arrested Katie L. Sims, 34, for vandalizing 16 vehicles at an auto dealership on September 19th, causing estimated damages of $100,000. Officers initially responded to reports of an argument outside the dealership, where Sims began throwing rocks at parked cars. The dealership's security provided crucial surveillance footage, allowing police to identify her. Officers located Sims the following day in Downtown Spokane, wearing the same clothing as seen in the video.

She was taken into custody and booked for 1st Degree Malicious Mischief. The damages could exceed initial estimates, raising concerns for the dealership. This incident highlights ongoing issues with vandalism in the area. Local authorities continue to address such disturbances to ensure public safety and protect property.
