Female in Custody After an Auto Dealership Has 16 Vehicles Vandalized

Spokane police arrested 34-year-old Katie L. Sims for vandalizing 16 vehicles at an auto dealership on September 19, causing damages estimated at $100,000. Officers responded to a report of an argument and found that Sims had thrown rocks at parked cars. Surveillance footage from the dealership led to her identification, and she was arrested the following day while wearing the same clothes. She now faces charges of 1st Degree Malicious Mischief and is being held at the Spokane County Jail.
