Female in Custody After an Auto Dealership Has 16 Vehicles Vandalized

Katie L. Sims, 34, was arrested on charges of 1st Degree Malicious Mischief after vandalizing 16 vehicles at an auto dealership in Spokane on September 19. The Spokane Police Department initially responded to reports of an argument in the dealership's vicinity, where Sims allegedly threw rocks at parked cars. Officers discovered the damage upon arrival and found that repair estimates could reach $100,000. Surveillance footage aided in identifying Sims, and she was apprehended the following day near 1600 West Sprague while wearing the same outfit captured on video.
