This initiative not only aids in water conservation but also helps detect leaks in the community's water systems. The Office of Neighborhood Services received accolades for organizing a vibrant event marking its 25th anniversary, which included live interviews and the launch of the Civic Guide zine. Despite staffing shortages, the team effectively balanced this celebration with their regular duties.

Additionally, Darcie from the Accounting Department was recognized for her vital role in ensuring timely payroll for nearly 3,000 city employees, showcasing her mentorship and commitment. The recognition of these employees underscores the city’s commitment to core values like integrity and accountability. Their efforts play a crucial role in fostering community engagement and operational efficiency.
