Spokane Police successfully located Paxson Matthews, a 33-year-old endangered male with multiple disabilities, after requesting community assistance. Matthews, who arrived in Spokane on September 12, was last seen near 700 North Division. He is legally blind and deaf, has significant mobility challenges, and requires medical care. Officers noted that he has a large zig-zag scar and typically wears a ball cap and black dress shoes. Community members were encouraged to report any sightings, leading to his successful location.

The SPD emphasized the importance of community engagement in such cases. This incident highlights the vulnerability of individuals with disabilities and the need for public awareness. The SPD thanked residents for their quick response in helping locate Matthews.
