Spokane Police Department successfully located Paxson Matthews, a 33-year-old endangered adult male, after a community search. Matthews has multiple disabilities, including being legally blind and deaf, and he requires ongoing medical care. He arrived in Spokane on or about September 12 and was last seen around 700 North Division. His disappearance raised immediate concern due to his significant mobility issues. Community assistance played a crucial role in the search, highlighting the importance of public involvement in such cases.

Matthews is known to frequent the South Hill and Gonzaga areas, which may help in future monitoring. SPD thanked the community for their vital support in locating him. The incident underscores the need for awareness regarding the safety of vulnerable individuals.
