North Ash Street will face major traffic slowdowns from September 22-24 due to construction that merges southbound lanes from three to one. The lane reductions will lead to congestion on both Ash Street and eastbound Northwest Boulevard. Meanwhile, the Francis and Assembly Water Project continues its second phase to enhance water reliability, causing closures on Nine Mile Road and intersecting streets. Key dates include the closure of N. Royal Drive on September 22 and Lyons Avenue on September 24.

Access to local businesses like gas stations will remain available, albeit reduced. This construction aims to improve water, sewer, and traffic infrastructure to support future growth. Drivers are advised to utilize alternative routes and adjust travel times to avoid peak traffic between 7 a. m. and 7 p.

m. The city encourages remote work if possible during this period to alleviate congestion.
