He went missing shortly after arriving in Spokane on September 12 and was last seen around 700 North Division. Matthews faces significant challenges due to his disabilities, including being legally blind and deaf, which require ongoing medical attention. His safe return was aided by community members who provided assistance during the search. Matthews stands 5'10", weighs around 125 pounds, and has a large zig-zag scar across his forehead.
