Spokane Police Department Seeking Assistance in Locating Missing Endangered Male

The Spokane Police Department confirmed the safe location of Paxson Matthews, a 33-year-old male who went missing and was considered endangered. Matthews arrived in Spokane around September 12th and was last seen in the vicinity of 700 North Division. He is legally blind and deaf, struggles with speech, and has significant mobility issues that necessitate medical care. Standing at 5'10" and weighing about 125 pounds, he has brown hair, blue eyes, and a prominent zig-zag scar across his forehead. Known to frequent the South Hill and Gonzaga areas, Matthews typically carries a brown fanny pack and wears black dress shoes.

The SPD issued a call for community assistance, emphasizing the urgency of locating him. Following this appeal, Matthews was found, and the department thanked the community for their involvement. The case highlights the importance of community engagement in locating vulnerable individuals.
