Rockwood Blvd. will close to all traffic between Grand Blvd. and Cowley St. from Sept. 15-17 for essential water, sewer, and stormwater system upgrades.

North/south traffic will resume at the Sumner Ave. /10th Ave. intersection during the closure. Meanwhile, significant lane reductions on N. Ash St.

will reduce traffic from three lanes to one from Sept. 22-24, contributing to congestion in the area. Pedestrians may face detours, but local access will remain open throughout the construction. Drivers should consider alternative routes to avoid delays during peak hours from 7 a. m.

to 7 p. m. These projects are part of the city’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance public safety. The Rockwood project also includes pavement rehabilitation and redesigning the intersection at Cowley St. and 10th Ave.

, expected to be completed by mid-October. Residents are urged to slow down and support local businesses affected by the construction.
