SPD Asking for Help Identifying Suspects in an Arson

Spokane Police Department (SPD) investigators are seeking public assistance to identify three suspects involved in an arson incident that took place on August 3, 2025. The fire occurred in the 1600 block of East Mission Ave, damaging several apple trees, a cherry tree, and lavender plants among other property. Video evidence shows three possibly juvenile males setting the fire, and detailed descriptions of their clothing have been released. Suspect 1 was dressed in gray shorts and a dark t-shirt with “Shot call-er M” in yellow writing, while Suspect 2 wore Adidas-style pants and a yellow t-shirt with gray sleeves. Suspect 3 was observed in white plaid shorts and a black top with red accents.

The incident raises significant concerns regarding vandalism and community safety, prompting a call to action from local authorities.
