Spokane Police Department (SPD) is actively seeking public assistance in identifying three suspects involved in an arson that occurred on August 3, 2025, in the 1600 block of East Mission. The fire, reported just before 2:00 PM, resulted in damage to multiple apple trees, a cherry tree, and lavender plants. Investigators discovered video evidence showing the suspects, described as young teenagers with short haircuts. Suspect 1 was wearing gray shorts and a dark t-shirt with “Shot call-er M” in yellow writing. Suspect 2 had on Adidas-style pants and a yellow t-shirt with gray sleeves, while Suspect 3 donned possibly white plaid shorts and a black top with red accents.

This incident highlights the ongoing issue of vandalism and environmental damage in the community.
