Age of Elegance Reimagined Showcases Local Furnishers to Raise Funds for Historic Preservation of D.C. Corbin Mansion, September 6-20

Spokane, WALocal News

The Corbin Art Center in Spokane will host "Age of Elegance Reimagined" from September 6-20, featuring local furnishings to support the preservation of the historic D. C. Corbin House. Admission is priced at $10, with all proceeds directed toward restoration efforts, particularly focusing on the front veranda. Guided tours will be available, led by interior designer and historian Cindy Blue-Blanton, on select dates throughout the event.

If voters approve the Parks & Recreation levy in November, funds will be allocated for ongoing maintenance of the mansion, which serves as an art center. The D. C. Corbin House has been home to the Corbin Art Center for over 50 years, providing affordable art programs for children and adults. Discounted group tours are offered at $8 per person for groups of six or more.

Visitors can also explore options to purchase furniture from local businesses. Those interested in contributing to the preservation efforts can visit the Spokane Parks Foundation's website for donations.
