Construction Project Changes

Spokane, WALocal News

From Sept. 15 to Sept. 17, Rockwood Blvd. will be closed between Grand Blvd. and Cowley St.

for essential upgrades to the water, sewer, and stormwater systems. The project includes pavement rehabilitation and redesign of the intersection at Rockwood Blvd. , Cowley St. , and 10th Ave. , with completion expected by mid-October.

Additionally, significant delays will occur on southbound Ash St. from Sept. 22 to Sept. 24, as lanes reduce from three to one between Augusta Ave. and Maxwell Ave.

This reduction is likely to cause congestion on eastbound Northwest Blvd. Pedestrians may also face sidewalk detours during construction. Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses. Drivers should consider alternative routes to avoid peak traffic between 7 a. m.

and 7 p. m. The city advises all to slow down for safety and support businesses affected by the construction.
