Age of Elegance Reimagined Showcases Local Furnishers to Raise Funds for Historic Preservation of D.C. Corbin Mansion, September 6-20

Spokane's Corbin Art Center will host "Age of Elegance Reimagined" from September 6-20, 2025, featuring local furnishings and guided historical tours. Admission is set at $10, with all proceeds directed towards the restoration of the D. C. Corbin House's front veranda. The success of the Parks & Recreation levy vote in November will determine additional funding for ongoing maintenance of the historic site.

Interior designer Cindy Blue-Blanton will lead tours on specific dates, enhancing visitor engagement with the mansion's history. Private group tours are offered at a reduced rate for parties of six or more. The Corbin Art Center has provided quality arts education for over five decades, promoting personal growth through small class sizes. D. C.

Corbin, a notable figure in the railroad and mining industries, donated the land for Corbin Park. Contributions for the mansion's preservation can be made via the Spokane Parks Foundation.
