Age of Elegance Reimagined Showcases Local Furnishers to Raise Funds for Historic Preservation of D.C. Corbin Mansion, September 6-20
The Corbin Art Center will host the "Age of Elegance Reimagined" exhibition from September 6 to 20, 2025, featuring local furnishings and guided tours. Admission is set at $10, with all proceeds aimed at restoring the historic D. C. Corbin House, focusing on the front veranda. Spokane voters will evaluate a Parks and Recreation levy in November, which could allocate funds for the mansion's ongoing repairs and maintenance.
Guided tours, led by historian Cindy Blue-Blanton, will take place on specific dates throughout the event. The Corbin Art Center has served the community for over 50 years, providing affordable arts programs that promote growth for all ages. D. C. Corbin's home was designed by architect Kirtland K.
