SPD Asking for Help Identifying Suspects in an Arson

Spokane Police Department (SPD) investigators are seeking public assistance to identify three juvenile males suspected of committing arson on August 3, 2025. The fire, reported just before 2:00 PM, occurred in the 1600 block of East Mission Avenue, damaging several apple and cherry trees, as well as lavender plants. Video footage has emerged showing the suspects, described as young teenagers with short haircuts. Suspect 1 wore gray shorts and a dark t-shirt emblazoned with “Shot call-er M” in yellow, while Suspect 2 sported Adidas-style pants and a yellow t-shirt with gray sleeves. Suspect 3 was seen wearing white plaid shorts and a black top with red accents.

The SPD urges anyone with information to assist in identifying these individuals by contacting Crime Check at 509. 456. 2233 and referencing case number 2025-20157743. The incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding youth involvement in vandalism and property damage. Community vigilance is crucial in addressing such issues effectively.
