SPD Asking for Help Identifying Suspects in an Arson

Spokane Police Department is investigating an arson that occurred on August 3, 2025, damaging multiple apple trees, a cherry tree, and lavender plants in the 1600 block of East Mission Avenue. The Spokane Fire Department responded to the fire shortly before 2:00 PM. Video footage captured three juvenile males allegedly involved in setting the fire, prompting SPD to seek public assistance in identifying them. Descriptions include one suspect in gray shorts and a dark t-shirt, another in Adidas-style pants and a yellow t-shirt, and a third wearing plaid shorts and a black top with red accents. All three suspects are believed to be young teenagers with short haircuts.
