Age of Elegance Reimagined Showcases Local Furnishers to Raise Funds for Historic Preservation of D.C. Corbin Mansion, September 6-20

Spokane's Corbin Art Center will feature the "Age of Elegance Reimagined" exhibit from September 6-20, 2025, highlighting local furniture from businesses such as The Tin Roof and Burbank Interiors. Admission is set at $10, with all proceeds directed towards preserving the historic D. C. Corbin House. If the Parks & Recreation levy passes in November, it will provide additional funds for the mansion's restoration and maintenance.

Guided tours, led by interior designer Cindy Blue-Blanton, are scheduled on selected dates throughout the event. The Corbin House, designed by architect Kirtland K. Cutter, has served as an art center for more than 50 years, offering quality arts programs. D. C.

Corbin, a prominent figure in the railroad and mining industries, originally gifted the land for Corbin Park to the city. The center also supports the local economy by collaborating with local businesses for furniture displays. Donations for the preservation efforts can be made through the Spokane Parks Foundation's website.
