Spokane police arrested Sergio Orduno-Gallegos on September 2, 2025, following a standoff at his apartment related to a domestic violence incident. Officers responded to a report of an assault where the female victim left to seek medical treatment. Upon arrival, they learned a No Contact Order was in effect, prohibiting Gallegos from contacting the victim. Concern for two small children allegedly in the apartment prompted a response from specialized units, including SWAT and Hostage Negotiators. After determining no children were present, officers managed to communicate with Gallegos, who surrendered without incident around 12:30 p.
