Age of Elegance Reimagined Showcases Local Furnishers to Raise Funds for Historic Preservation of D.C. Corbin Mansion, September 6-20

Spokane will vote in November on a Parks & Recreation levy that could secure funding for the historic D. C. Corbin House, now known as the Corbin Art Center. The center will host "Age of Elegance Reimagined" from September 6-20, displaying exquisite furnishings from local retailers. Admission is set at $10, with funds earmarked for the restoration of the mansion’s front veranda.

Visitors can join guided tours led by interior designer Cindy Blue-Blanton on specific dates, enhancing the educational experience. Group rates for tours are available, encouraging community participation. The D. C. Corbin House, designed by architect Kirtland K.

Cutter, was gifted to the city by Corbin himself and has been a cultural hub for over 50 years. The center’s mission includes providing affordable arts programs that promote cognitive and creative development. Donations for preservation can be made through the Spokane Parks Foundation’s platform.
